The MultiBac platform at the EEF, Berger Group, EMBL Grenoble
EMBL’s EEF consists of a fully equipped cell culture facility including sterile benches, light microscopy, fluorescence microscopy, shaker platforms, incubators and tissue culture equipment, up-stream (USP) and down-stream processing (DSP) equipment and facilities for protein purification and analysis including state-of-the-art biophysical techniques.
The EEF is operated by the Berger laboratory as part of the Partnership for Structural Biology (PSB) on the Polygone Scientifique campus, Grenoble. The EEF serves local, national and European research facilities researching important proteins and their complexes. The centerpiece of the EEF is the MultiBac platform. MultiBac is integrated in numerous national and European projects including integrated projects (IP), collaborative projects (CP) and infrastructure projects (I3s) of the European Commission in FP6 and FP7.
