Science for Schools
The European Learning Laboratory for the Life Sciences (ELLS) provides high school science teachers with the hands-on expertise and theoretical know-how to bring concepts of molecular biology into the classroom through its LearningLABs, TeachingBASE and networking.
Science in School is the European journal for science teachers. It features news about the latest scientific discoveries, teaching materials, interviews with inspiring teachers and scientists, and many more. Science in School is freely available both online and in print. It is published and funded by EIROforum, a partnership between Europe's eight intergovernmental research organisations.
iNEXT - interactive Network for Experimental Training is a 3-year project to develop state-of-the-art resources for teaching molecular biology to advanced level in German schools. The project is supported by the Robert Bosch Stiftung, Germany, within the framework of their NaT-Working Programme – Natural Science and Technology: students, teachers and scientists network.
SET-Routes is a pan-European network of women scientists from PhD students to institute directors, working in some of the most challenging areas of science. Our goal is to awaken young girls' interest in science and to encourage young women graduates to pursue careers in science, engineering and technology – SET. The SET-Routes project was funded by the European Commission under FP6 from November 2006 to April 2009.
